Trained in architecture and urban planning, Gonçalo has worked across architectural imagery, licensing and construction documentation. A love of photography, beginning with his first Kodak in 2003, and a fascination with technology led him into digital and virtual image-making. Light remains the thread connecting his work: understanding how it shapes a space, and how an image can capture that experience.
